Drink & Draw

On Friday, March 1, Maria Pappalardi guided us with our drawings to the Drink & Draw we made.

Maria Pappalardi organized a very dynamic session of drawing, accompanied by a glass of wine and good music.

We performed several exercises of drawing.

On this occasion, we performed the PORTRAIT.

After a few brief explanations, we immediately started with the 1st exercise: Portrait of Natural. For 40 min, participants had the opportunity to practice drawing with model. We made several positions to begin to release the hand and learn to observe.

Moving the volume of the head, which is 3 dimensions, to a 2-dimensional drawing sheet, has its difficulties!

The idea was to make schemes more than one detailed drawing.

Maria simplified the exercise by explaining some rules and teaching us to observe.[/vc_column_text][kraft_image_gallery gallery_columns=”3″ image_gallery_ids=”2360,2383,2348″][vc_column_text font_weight=”400″]

The 2nd exercise: Portrait from photography.

Maria shared several photographs of faces so that each one chose her.

This exercise proved to be easier. The same photograph helps to represent the image since it already appears in 2 dimensions.

In this exercise of 1 hour we could draw more detail the faces.[/vc_column_text][kraft_image_gallery gallery_columns=”2″ image_gallery_ids=”2374,2365,2342,2354″][vc_column_text font_weight=”400″]

At the end of the Drink & Draw, all the participants commented on how complicated it is to make a portrait!

The session was very close and in a very good atmosphere. Surely we will repeat![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
